Loon Chick Reports 2026
We are all very excited to welcome at least 4 new loon chicks, so far, to our resident loon population in 2026. A loon pair living near the confluence of the stream and pond have two chicks, and a pair near Thorofare Road and a pair down near the I-295 bridge on the stream each have one chick. Please avoid disturbing the loons as they rear their chicks – they have enough worries just fending off the eagles. Please send us your photos of the loons as they grow up and we’ll post them here.
